Some new progress photos, finally!

I have been making slow progress on several projects, just hadn't gotten around to taking photos of them until today. Here they are!

Deco Spirits, Water panel, is finished finally, so this project is 50% complete.

I'm getting SO close on Arabian Woman, but won't finish her by the end of this year. Just the bottom left corner to go now.

And a little more progress on the Log Cabin Quilt design by Mill Hill.

And I did start yet another project the day after Christmas - a new pair of socks!

December update

Rudy Poo is hanging in there, still getting lots of loving and extra attention. Thank you to everyone who is thinking of us. She still wants to cuddle in the evenings with me, and we haven't noticed much of a change except she seems to wheeze a bit more from the side of her nose where the tumor is. She did play for a few minutes last night, as if she was chasing a mouse, and we cherish those moments.

Slowly, but surely, I've put a few stitches in at a time, and finally finished L is for Leaves by Prairie Schooler. At this rate, I'll finish this cross-stitch quilt in 26 years, but it's the process for me, so I'm okay with that. :)

I also managed to make a few pincushions as little Christmas gifts for a few of my friends at our quilt guild. CC helped me pick out the buttons I used in making them, and the pattern is Square Deal Pincushion from Heather Bailey Designs. I will admit that I didn't try to sew the ribbon through the pincushion as the pattern called for. I tried that, and for the life of me could not get the ribbon through with any needle, pliers, rubber gloves, etc. So I just wrapped it around and sewed it down with the buttons. Worked for me. These photos show the tops and bottoms or fronts and backs, whichever you prefer. :)
