One of my favorite gifts this year is this one - an ironing board topper, made locally by the husband of one of our quilt guild members. I gave my mother one also, we both LOVE ours.
It makes it SO much easier to iron the width of fabric and all my quilt blocks and strips. It just sits over the top of my ironing board and can be removed easily if I need to use the tapered end (which I usually don't, since I'm not much into ironing clothing).
I'm also going to try to post more pictures of things in progress this year. Recently, I wouldn't post a photo until I could really see some progress. That led to me taking fewer photos. So this year, I'm resolving to take more photos, even if I don't think that I've made "enough" progress, because I probably actually have and can't see it without comparing old to new.
I'd also like to welcome a new blogger to the community - Teresa in Music City is a member of my quilt guild, a fantastic quilter, and she has just started blogging! I've added her to my list of blogs I visit, so hop on over and take a look.
