Retail therapy

After work today, I went and got more of the fabric I needed for Jared Takes a Wife. Then I decided to take a "quick trip" over to another quilt shop that is on the way home, The Quilter's Path. I wanted to check out her batiks and perhaps pick up a few to use in my Eldon quilt. Here is what I ended up with.

Top left to right, just a couple of pretty fabric and one cool piece of sale fabric that I thought I might use in Jared (the teal building blocks). Alas, when I put it with the other fabrics I had picked out, it just didn't work, so it will go into the stash for some other quilt.
Bottom left to right, fabrics for Jared (LOVE the floral print), and a polka-dot stripe that I will use as binding on Rockin' Rail Fence. It almost looks pinkish in the photo, but it is beige and black. Bottom right are batiks - 1/8 yard cuts of each (yes, Marita is a doll for cutting all of these - stay tuned for the next photo).

Top - neutrals for Eldon, and she cut 5 - 1" strips of each of them for me with her die cutter (in the plastic bag). These will be for the little log cabins that go in the quilt.
Middle - a couple of black prints for the log cabins too.
Bottom - MORE 1/8 yard cuts of yummy batiks.  I am looking forward to pulling out additional fabrics from my stash to begin building the stars and log cabins.
