Fall Frolicking in May

I have finished block H and two more of block M (it looks like I'll have 3 more of those to make), and here they are.

Every time I make those block Ms, I go ahead and make little 1½ inch HSTs from the scraps that are trimmed, so here are the ones from this time.

And I finally got the heel flap of my new sock knitted and began turning it this weekend.

We went and saw Iron Man 3 today and really enjoyed it! Looking forward to Thor: The Dark World in November, and Star Trek Into Darkness in a couple of weeks. There are quite a few movies coming out this year that we want to see... Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Now You See Me, World War Z, Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Elysium, Ender's Game, and Jack Ryan to name a few. Looks like we might have some interesting new television shows to check out this summer and fall too. Hoping that many of the sci-fi shows do well, including a reboot of The Tomorrow People. Fingers are crossed for for some good new shows.

I'm working on putting the SSS 2012 block of the month quilt top together this weekend too - not sure if I'll have time to finish it tomorrow, but I should definitely have the chance to finish it by the end of the month. Hopefully I'll get some pics of that to post tomorrow. Things are really starting to come together on several quilts, and I'm feeling really good about that.
