Then I worked on the Haunted House. The moon top is almost stitched - just about 5 or 6 more rows of 712 to go. Oh, and I backstitched the other bat.
And then I pulled out Desert Mandala, and even though I haven't finished part 3 yet, Annette suggested I go ahead and start stitching on one of the scenes (I had mentioned that the feathers were not finished but I didn't feel like stitching the gray-green of them at the moment).
The whole thing so far:

And speaking of Annette, she showed me a piece she was working on - Chateau Hexagon Mystery block of the month, and as soon as I saw it, I was hooked and headed on over to join in. Hexagons, cute handmade buttons, appliqué, and hand embroidery - sweet!!!! It should be approximately 26 by 37 inches. Since she mentioned that I was the reason she started doing hexagons also (Hex on the Beach, YAY!), I suppose turnabout's fair play. :)
