Being laid up could be dangerous

For the wallet, that is... A dear friend called this afternoon to check on me, and during our conversation she asked if I had seen Tula Pink's new line of fabric (releasing in mid-March). I hadn't, so of course I had to go check it out at Hawthorne Threads. So pretty! And yes, I pre-ordered some. :)

At least 6 more weeks

So, I ended up with a partially torn rotator cuff. On the whole, it's a little worse than what we were hoping for, but better than what it could have been. The partial tear has been repaired, and the bone spur has been removed. A full tear would have resulted in at least 4-6 months of recovery, but we're looking at hopefully just 6 weeks or so. I expect to still have some pain after that, while the bone heals where he shaved off the spur, but I am very hopeful of an eventual full recovery.

Until I am able to stitch and sew again, I will be doing a lot of surfing the web, looking at all of the progress everyone else is making, and cheering you all on.

My little bits of progress

A few more blue hexies

Working on the background of the top section of Kitty Litter

And look what Stilts has discovered!

I am still here

We finally got everything moved, and have started unpacking. It has been a slow process, but it will be so worth it when we're done. We are already enjoying the new location. I haven't gotten much stitching done during this time, but I will have a little bit of progress to share tomorrow.

Bear with me over the next few weeks. I am having some work done on my shoulder soon, and I'm not sure when I will be back to full strength. I will post again and keep you updated!
