What I've been working on lately:
I finished my Ombre Infinity Cowl! I love it - the colors are just wonderful.
And I've started some new projects. I have been watching a lot of knitters beginning crochet granny square blankets with sock yarn scraps. Yay for crochet! The ones I've been seeing are so beautiful, and I've been trying to hold off, but finally gave in. I got some mini skeins and started. They are small, just under 3 inches square. And I will have to figure out what color I will use to edge / join them.
Stilts immediately claimed the blanket as hers, even though it has only just begun.
I am still working on my Emerald Isle socks. I have gotten a little further than this photo - I started on the heel flap of one, and I'm doing my first eye of partridge heel.
I started the Joyful Joyful hat that I got as a kit from Infinite Twist - it's a hand-dyed gradient - and the proceeds of the pattern purchase go to a good cause.
And the last thing I started this weekend, actually today, is the High Plains Poncho. This is another knit-along with Haus of Yarn. I decided it would be perfect for work, since I'm always cold in the office. It will be a lot nicer looking than the cheap blanket I bought from a big-box store. :)
I will probably be focused on the poncho, socks, and hat, with some of the little granny squares thrown in over the next few weeks. I'm also gearing up for Stitches South in April, where I'll be taking 5 classes (yes, 5!). I am really looking forward to Spring!
