Doodle-head Stitches Episode 3

Thanks for watching!

Show Notes

Knitting: My Joyful Joyful hat is finished! I've also finished the back panel, seamed the two panels together, and started the edging on my High Plains Poncho. One of the videos I used to help me figure out the seaming was How to Graft Live Stitches to a Cast On Edge. The other was Vertical to Horizontal Seam.

Crochet: I've connected 12 squares on my Scrappy Sock Yarn Granny Square Blanket. Some of the mini skeins I am using were purchased from Mermaid Knitting on Etsy.

Quilting: I've finished piecing another block (11 of 16) on Eldon by Edyta Sitar on the machine. I also finished blue hexie block 5 of 7 and started #6 for my Over the Rainbow quilt by Tacha Bruecher.

All of my Eldon blocks so far

Cross Stitch: I'm now working on Spooky House by Sandra Parlow for X's and Oh's. I've finished the moon, I've been filling in the backstitching for the tree, and I've worked a little on the front of the house where the flames are and the windows / front porch.

Doodle-head Stitches Episode 2

Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoy!

Show Notes
I'm wearing my knitted Age of Brass and Steam kerchief.

Knitting: I've finished the front panel and started the back panel of my High Plains Poncho and I share my progress on my Joyful Joyful hat, which is getting close to being finished.

Crochet: I've connected a few more squares on my Scrappy Sock Yarn Granny Square Blanket. Some of the mini skeins I purchased were from Mermaid Knitting on Etsy.

Quilting: I've finished piecing two more blocks on Eldon by Edyta Sitar on the machine and I'm working on blue hexie block 5 of 7 for my Over the Rainbow quilt by Tacha Bruecher. I also started making some green hexies. And I shared my happy dance - the Waterlily Pond Quilt (Chatelaine Designs) is finished!

Cross Stitch: I'm still working on Pumpkin Patch Pillow by Donna Vermillion Giampa, and I've finished the top right corner.

Stash Enhancement: My final shipment in the Vampire Romance Club came in from Voolenvine Yarns. The shipment contained a cute fangs stitch marker from One Geek To Craft Them All. And I received 4 skeins of self-striping sock yarn that I had ordered from Desert Vista Dyeworks. I also got one of each of the Laurel Burch cats Mill Hill kits (the evenweave versions).
