Here is my latest progress on M is for Mermaid. My problem with it, now that I have her entire upper body and face stitched, is that the color of her skin is really close in value to the background, making it a little indistinct. Any suggestions? Part 2 is nearly complete. I decided to bring this one out and work on it during Moonlight Stitching at my LNS last Saturday night. Just a few more specialty and accent stitches, the backstitching is already complete. One corner just needs the gold accents (closeup below).

CC's quilt top is finished, and I basted it today while we watched a couple of episodes of The Big Bang Theory, yay! Now I just need to get in there and quilt it. So here is the sock I ripped back last night And here was the progress I had made on the flannel plaid quilt in December. I've completed the lower right quarter, and I'm working on the lower left quarter.
